April Art Exhibitions in Nairobi

Nairobi City is always abuzz with visual art exhibitions. This month of April is no exception as there are several ongoing shows and upcoming ones.

First off is the ‘From Here To When’ art exhibition featuring Onyis Martin and Longinos Nagila at the Goethe-Institut Nairobi opening on 4th to 23rd April, 2019.

 ‘African Forms’ art exhibition closes on 4th and ‘Three Stones’ opens on Saturday April 6, 2019 at the Banana Hill Art Gallery.

  • 15th April: “Bunge la Wananchi”, Public off site event // Jeevanjee Gardens
  • 23rd April: Closing event with performance // Goethe-Institut
  • 30th April: “Labour, migration and the question of the present – A performative reading and discussion” // University of Nairobi

Michael Musyoka’s Time & Other Constructs opened on Sunday 31st March 2019 at the Red Hill Art Gallery. This is Musyoka’s first solo art exhibition and is on view until 12th May 2019.
